Short-Circuit Indicators for overhead power lines SCI-OPL110 Pro S

Short-Circuit Indicator for overhead power lines SCI-OPL110 Pro S

The product is designed to determine the branches, sections of overhead power lines, including the completion of the circuit, primarily to networks of the 6-110 kV class with an island or countervailing neutral operation mode.

The short-circuit indicator SCI-OPL110 Pro S continuously measures the parameters of current and voltage, calculates the value of the current amplitude (increase in current above a predetermined level and the appearance of higher harmonics) and voltage at the main frequency of the network and at multiple frequencies.

In the event of an emergency on the overhead line, an accident type occurs and turns on the corresponding LED indication of an emergency (red color – interphase short-circuit, blue color – single-phase short circuit), and also turns the orange point of view blender (flag on the indicator) towards the observer.

The indicator, through the built-in GPS/GSM systems can transmit a signal and inform about the damage and its location to the information collection server with subsequent conversion and retransmission in the IEC 60870-5-104 protocol to the NCC SCADA system. On the information collection server, the function of memorizing and storing information about registered damages in the amount necessary for the operational personnel (25–100 accidents) can also be implemented programmatically. If there is no SCADA system, then the information can be transferred to mobile devices of operational and/or operational and maintenance personnel.

A short circuit indicator is supplied with a remote control (optional, by separate order) for setting up the kit and obtaining information about emergency events that have occurred on the overhead line.

The power indicator is supplied from DC sources. The internal current source does not require recharging during the entire service life.

The power supply can be replaced with a similar one if such need arises. You will be notified about it by flashing yellow LED during operation of the device.

The indicator is designed for continuous round-the-clock operation in the open air under the following conditions: ambient temperature from minus 40°С to plus 60°С; atmospheric precipitation: rain, snow, dew, frost. Indicator has a degree of protection against environmental influences IP67 (requirements for equipment exposed to strong atmospheric influences and water) in accordance with GOST 14254-96 (National Standard).
